Halloween wasn’t just about costumes this year – it was about philanthropy and fashion. On October 31st, men and women walked down a black carpet at the Little Haiti Cultural Center wearing masquerade masks, ready to indulge in an evening of music, food, and fashion. Amongst them were local fashion designers and local musicians who brought this “Saints and Sinners” themed event to life.
Runway models from CatWalk Pros, a fashion show production and model management firm, flaunted unique, one of a kind designs crafted by the hands of established local designers. Two of the designers featured that night were Alexandra Lin and Mariapia Malerba.
“This [event] is a great way to mix art and fashion while supporting two great community organizations,” said Vernet Pegues, CatWalk Pros Vice President.
This fundraiser benefits the City of Miami Police Athletic League (PAL) and Do The Right Thing (DTRT), Miami Inc. Programs such as PAL provide services to keep our youth productive, active, and safe; and DTRT Miami recognizes and rewards youth for their exemplary behavior, accomplishments, and good deeds.
Experience two days of fashion, art, music, and entertainment while supporting these worthy causes.
